Google Apps’s GMail and VPS
We, Kholix, are started involving since Google open its Apps for partner affiliation program. Basically, the most excited feature is that, of course, Google powerful “GMail” as your domain e-mail hosting. Every seasoned IT experts know that how horrifying about setting up one full-fledge reliable mail server that has effective spam killer, DNS, multiple domains, IMAP, push and pull, etc…

To be simple and quick overview about how we can consume Google’s GMail Apps is that:

With Google Apps program, you can have Google’s GMail, Gtalk, Calendar, etc.. as in form of your own domain name. That mean, let say your domain is called haalaaluu.com. Then, you sign-up one of our services such as VPS-K1 with this domain. Your domain nameserver is pointed to our Kholix DNS server, and we offer DNS forward for VPS-K1, thus, you may not require to setup your own email server on your VPS. What you have to make sure is that, you sign up Google Apps with your domain, and once Google approved your application, you just create ticket to let us know that you want your hosted domain for Google Apps. Hence, here, our most interest is GMail application for your domain. We will carry out for configuring all your domain MX record (mail exchange) to Google GMail servers.

This is where we forward your domain to your VPS ipaddress, known as Forward DNS.

And you may create ticket support for whenever your subdomain requirement needs, known as CNAME.

Alright, this is a really cool tip. However, if you are still wanting (mick-mick) to have own email server or email hosting, of course you can setup your email server or you can purchase our email hosting solution, known to sell as standalone product line.
