Howto configure microsoft outlook to retrieve sending mails

• Open Microsoft Outlook
• Tools > E-Mails Accounts

• Add new email account

• You can choose POP3 or IMAP but we recommend POP3.
• You have to check with your mailbox domain administrator for IMAP usability.

• Add required informations accordingly. Take note that Incoming and Outgoing mail server would be

mail.yourdomainname.com

• And also take note that username is name.domain.com which is not @ sign.

• At this step, please click More Settings button and you will see the follow dialog

• Now goto second TAB, outgoing server tab as shown below.

• You may click Test Account Setting button to test the connection and it should be shown below.

• Then click next to finish the dialog wizard setup.

• Add many account as you wanted.
• If you want to edit or modify the setting, start from beginning and now choose View or change existing e-mail accounts

• Now you can choose which account to be default and edit the setting for each individual POP3 emails.

• Take note that once you downloaded the emails from server, it will automatically move away from server. If you want to keep important mails, create specific folder through webmail interface and move it inside that folder.
