Kholix lamp on demand

KhoLiX LAMP on Demand (OS Distributed Packages) is a free of charge service while you were ordering any of KhoLiX VPS plans. LAMP is an abbreviation of Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP/Perl/Python. Additionally, we will setup with master DNS (chroot-bind) and other basic necessary packages. Please refer the following checklist for details.

  • Linux (CentOS 4.* or Fedora Core 4,5)
  • Apache
  • mod_perl, mod_python, mod_evasive, mod_security, mod_ssl
  • Bind 9.* for master DNS [Optional]
  • MySQL (OS Distributed Packages)
  • PHP/Perl/Python
  • ZendOptimizer for PHP
  • CPAN Perl Modules
  • Denyhosts
  • Basic Firewall iptables
  • chkrootkit
  • rkhunter
  • SSH and basic ssh configuration
  • Openssl
  • Basic SMTP with Sendmail or Postfix
  • vsftpd or proftpd

[edit] Notes

  • We will not configure Apache Web Server and FTP server.
  • You may require secondary DNS
  • You may use our DNS nameservers if you do not want to run DNS.
